Service Description
Home Weatherization and Retrofit Installer course provides the groundwork for entry into the weatherization field and provides additional knowledge to existing weatherization. Topics covered include: • Introduction to weatherization • Air and duct sealing • Use of spray foam • Dense Packing The instructor will evaluate students during this course through observation, hands-on lab exercises, and classroom participation. This course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analysis for Retrofit Installer Technician Experience Level: Entry Level to Advanced BPI CEUs: 17
