Service Description
By the end of the five-day session, participants will be able to: • Identify multifamily building types and components. • Understand how to perform multifamily assessment and identify energy conservation measures. • Review typical retrofit and retro-commissioning testing. • Perform diagnostic training in the field. • Identify operations and maintenance improvements. Class Schedule: Monday Classroom AM • In Class Multifamily basics Monday Classroom PM •Fuel analysis of all buildings for the week; break into teams for Tues Tuesday Field AM • Field visit First Building (Proposed Westfield, MA) data collection & Group in-field class Tuesday Field PM • Field Visit attic, boiler room, basement, apartment if available Wed Classroom AM • Put together draft scope of work for Westfield Building Wed classroom PM • Review MA MF Tool & EA-QUIP data input • True up actual vs. modeled energy usage Thursday Field AM • Meet at Building 2, AYER or Hubbardston • Data collection & in-field class • Visit attic, boiler room, basement, apartment if available Thursday Field PM • Go to meeting space, draft up scope of work and building issues • If owner is available, meet with owner Friday Classroom AM • Review Notes and Scope from Thursday Building • MA & EA-QUIP data entry • Draw up Scope of work Friday Classroom PM • Close up scope of work and needs for 2 buildings • Review additional needs; draft reports • Closing thoughts and reviews
