OSHA Confined Space
This OSHA Confined Spaces training is a comprehensive safety program designed for weatherization workers interested in understanding and expanding their knowledge of the new OSHA standard for Confined Spaces (29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA)-any space that meets the following three criteria: is large enough for a worker to enter it; has limited means of entry or exit; and is not designed for continuous occupancy. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.
Home Weatherization and Retrofit Installer
Home Weatherization and Retrofit Installer course provides the groundwork for entry into the weatherization field and provides additional knowledge to existing weatherization.
Topics covered include:
• Introduction to weatherization
• Air and duct sealing
• Use of spray foam
• Dense Packing
The instructor will evaluate students during this course through observation, hands-on lab exercises, and classroom participation.
