The IREC Certified Weatherization Crew Lead will provide the groundwork for weatherization workers interested in understanding and advancing their careers. - EOHLC MA DOE WAP Energy Auditor - Week 1
Prerequisites: BSP Certification This five (5) day training is a continuation of Building Science Principles, giving students the fundamentals to complete a complete home assessment. This class is designed for those individuals that will be working in the Low-Income Network primarily under the DOE WAP Program and those who may start out in the Utility Programs with plans to move to DOE WAP.

- Home Weatherization and Retrofit Install
Home Weatherization and Retrofit Installer course provides the groundwork for entry into the weatherization field and provides additional knowledge to existing weatherization. Topics covered include: • Introduction to weatherization • Air and duct sealing • Use of spray foam • Dense Packing The instructor will evaluate students during this course through observation, hands-on lab exercises, and classroom participation. This course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analysis for Retrofit Installer Technician Experience Level: Entry Level to Advanced BPI CEUs: 17
