Into to Weatherization for Non-Technical Staff
Service Description
This one-day class will give staff who are involved in the Weatherization Program but not actively in the field a general overview of the different elements of the weatherization program.

Topics will include:
- History of the program
- Building Science (energy, air and moisture)
- Ventilation
- Home construction basics
- Air leakage
- Insulation
- Blower Door Testing
- Combustion Appliance Zone Testing (CAZ)
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Appliance Management Program

There will be time in the lab observing various diagnostic testing, with hands-on participation encouraged.

This is the registration policy to use when creating a service where as few as 1 student can be in attendance.
